What is G-Express Service?
G-Express service provides dedicated network-based Internet application acceleration service and low latency streaming service to global users. With this, you can provide one-stop OTT live streaming service for content creators and improves user experience by minimizing packet loss and service delivery delays for Internet application services.

Global Application Acceleration Service

System Configuration
To use the global acceleration service, the service provider should have the global accelerator (Accelerator). Global Accelerator consists of a listener and an endpoint, and the data requested by the customer's Internet application service user is accelerated and transmitted through the Global Accelerator (Accelerator).
Listener
This is a software module that composes the accelerator and plays a role of accelerating the user's request data received from the listener to the backend server. The customer should have an endpoint in the region where the backend server that requires global application acceleration is located.
Endpoint
This is a software module that composes the accelerator and plays a role of accelerating the user's request data received from the listener to the backend server. The customer should have an endpoint in the region where the Backend Server that requires global application acceleration is located.
Live Transcoding Service
The live transcoding service conveniently allows creating a video stream with the optimal resolution and quality so that the original live video can be played on various user terminals on the Internet and provides a video streaming service without buffering or interruption regardless of the user's network connection environment. In addition, it provides live ultra-low latency streaming service in conjunction with global application acceleration service.

System Configuration
Customers should have a live transcoder to use the live ultra-low latency streaming service. The live transcoder consists of a transcoder and a live streamer and provides a live ultra-low latency streaming service along with a global accelerator.
Transcoder
Live Transcoding: It receives the original live video and converts the video resolution and quality in real time so that it can be played on various end-user devices.
Re-streaming: The original live video obtained is re-transmitted to the existing OTT platform (for example, YouTube, Twitch, Naver TV). DVR allows recording and storing real-time live streaming video.
Live Streamer
It packages the converted live video for Internet transmission and transmits it as HTTP-based streaming. Also, it provides live ultra-low latency streaming transmission along with global application live acceleration service.

In the case of live content creation or Internet live streaming provided by content providers, there is a delay of about 10 to 15 seconds for service users to watch live content after live streaming is transmitted according to HTTP's live streaming protocol.
